REVIEW MOVIE: MUSIC AND LYRICS (HUGH GRANT AND DREW BARRYMORE)

     Music and Lyrics is a romantic comedy released by Warner Bros. on February 9, 2007 in the UK. The film stars among others by Hugh Grant, pop music stars of the 1980s and Drew Barrymore, a former student of English Literature. This film tells about the hard work they have to write a song for the singer Cora Corman.

Interpretative Recount:
      Alex Fletcher (Hugh Grant) is a pop singer who was once renowned. However, his name became inaudible and he finally tried out for "stick" fame to a newcomer named Cora Corman (halley Bennett), who asked him to write a song for her. Due to the longer life feels more difficult.Because song he wrote never reap kesukSsesan. He realized that the women were regular watering plants, named Sophie Fisher (Drew Barrymore) who has a talent in writing lyrics. Alex has also asked for his help to make some of the lyrics to the song. A few days later, they became increasingly close as constantly creating songs together. Evaluation:
      Speaking about beauty, Music and Lyrics is a movie that present two genre, romantic and comedy. It's really amaze because this is a comedy, so I laughed. And because this is also a romantic movie at the same time, so I took a melancholy and emotion.
     Besides, this movie is very detailed. Scenario by Marc Lawrence really detailed to expose sparkling world behind the music industry and the creative process of writing songs. When Alex and Sophie "working on" Way Back Into Love, we are involved in the search step by step with the rhythm, phrasing, including the effects of this oracle, and finally recording a demo tape. We become more knowledge and insight.
    Regarding the characterization, this movie was supported by best actors and actresses, such us Hugh Grant, Drew Barrymore, Halley Bennett and Brad Garrett. They were able to display their best performances.

Evaluative Summation or Conclusion:
    To sum up, this film looks quite simple, but through this simplicity, once again Music and Lyrics can bring us to a world that is very relaxed and made a special satisfaction in our hearts. Elements of drama, romance, musical and acting along with the existing conflict made us so enjoy it.
